About the Author

AJ Sterling—much like the characters he writes—has spent a great deal of time wandering from place to place. Now, he has finally spent enough time doing the same damn thing to actually have a book to show for it.

 Having transitioned out of a high-status, high-prestige career (all that was good about it, except for maybe getting high), he has committed to abandoning the Sisyphean grind of the 9–5 world to make his way in the literary one—or die alone in the Cambodian jungle (whichever comes first).

 AJ Sterling draws from a range of themes, spanning psychology, evolutionary biology, neuroscience, philosophy, and existentialism to fuse Literary Fiction, Speculative & Science Fiction, and Cyberpunk—sprinkled with a tinge of dry English wit for good measure.

 When not writing, AJ Sterling spends his time contemplating the bizarreness of his own existence (My mother knew my father. And with all that knowledge, she still decided to sleep with him. And now, I have to deal with that choice?) and generally trying to figure out how to slip by life and have a little fun, without pissing too many people off in the process.
